Hi, my name is Barbara Horn
and I've worked at Eden Florist for 19 years (since 1986). I love being
around a great group of nice people, always working with different flowers with
the changing seasons and Mimosa Day... and special times when we all bring in
food to share. My duties include designing and filling incoming
orders, waiting on customers, answering phones, and various other things when
time allows. |

My name is Luigina "Gina"
Aronoff. I was dropped off at age
15. I have been working for Eden Florist for 16+ years. I love my
job because we have an awesome boss. And my children have grown up at Eden
Florist too! Not only do I work with flowers and wonderful people, I also get
educated every day. We laugh and all cry together. My work duties are too
long to list here...

My name is Lucille
Spreitzer,
and I started working for Heidi at the Hospital Gift shop in 1994. I
worked there for 7.5 years and truly enjoyed working with the volunteers.
For the past 4 years I have worked at the shop - my job is to "help the
help," which includes taking orders, waiting on customers, administrative
duties and other jobs around the shop. I love the work and everyone is
caring and a lot of fun. |

Hi, I'm Roy McConnell
(they call me the Captain) - I have helped out at
Eden
Florist two to three times a year delivering (since 1988). My wife Mayte
discovered
Eden
Florist when she came in to buy flowers for her homecoming dance. We have
been a part of the family ever since. Whenever the "Chief
Goddess" calls, I answer.

My name is Laura Rossi and
my favorite day of the week at
Eden
Florist was always Monday (payday). I worked here full time for 10 years
until 2004 and then moved to
Ocala
. I am back in town and now help out on holidays delivering flowers. I
love bringing smiles to customers. |

Richards-Obert
(shown with my daughter, Madison) - My
mother owns the shop and I used to work full-time doing the marketing and
website maintenance of
Eden
Florist. I have worked here since I was 18 (1994) - if you don't count
helping out on holidays and making thousands of nets at home when we used to use them in
our corsages (I think I started doing that at six years old). |

Bellavoix - My name is Denise
Bellavoix, and I came here by way of a career program at
Norland
Senior High School
in partnership with the
North Dade
Chamber of Commerce (5 years ago). I like the opportunity to learn design
and teach others. I am in charge of the care and handling of all flowers
that come through the shop. |

Fahey - Hi, there! I'm
Laurie Fahey and I have worked at
Eden
Florist since 2002. I love the people I work with and the pace of the
job, especially on really busy days. I am one of three you might see
delivering flowers on a regular basis. |

My name is Isabel Hernandez. I
have been working at Eden Florist since 2003. What I love about my job is
that it is not a job, it is an "Adventure" where you never know
what to expect. We celebrate everything, and mostly being alive. I
work as a floral designer, wedding consultant and also help doing other things
when it is necessary. |

Kerri Aronoff & I have been working for the "Goddess" since
I was 16, seems like forever ago, 14 years, WOW! I love the staff, they're
all like family to me. I work here now part time, & you can find me
here on most holidays. My wonderful sister-in-law works here & my
beautiful nephews & nieces were practically raised here! Thank you
