The
‘Blooming Marketer’ Education/Scholarship Fund to Help College

The “Blooming
Marketer” Education/Scholarship Fund was
established to provide educational stipends to local (tri-county area including
Broward, Miami-Dade and
Palm Beach
) college students and faculty to cover expenses for educational seminars hosted
by the Florida Direct Marketing Association.
The purpose of the “Blooming Marketer” Education/Scholarship
Fund is to also provide individual scholarship assistance to local college
students. Students can apply anytime throughout the year until funds
are exhausted.
*The goal of this fund is to raise at least $1,000 through the affiliate
partnership established by Eden Florist and the FDMA. The monies raised
will be used to further the education of students in the field of Marketing,
with an emphasis on direct marketing. Our goal is to provide at least two
$250 scholarships and 20 admissions to the FDMA
regular events. The 20 admission stipends would allow 2 attendees per
month for those students or faculty applying.
According to Heidi Richards, Chief
Goddess of Eden Florist.com, “The Scholarship Fund was named ‘Blooming’
because education is like a flower constantly blooming, and as more and more
education is obtained by one, they flourish.
Eden Florist is very proud and honored to give back to the community with
this education fund.” The Fund will begin February
1st with a special kick-off for Valentine’s Day and continue
through June 2006. Order

Day or anytime to support the “Blooming
Marketer” fund.”
Keith Fletcher, President of the FDMA,
states “This is a great opportunity for everyone to do two positive things at
once. People are buying flowers for
that special person in their lives for Valentine’s Day or other occasions, so
they might as well buy them where the purchase benefits the education of
students via a scholarship. Even if

or
Hawaii
and buying flowers, you can help make a difference.”

those orders placed will go toward “growing” the scholarship fund.
