(Miramar, Florida ) Wednesday, November 15, 2006 – In honor of the Men and Women who serve in United States Military, Heidi Richards and the Eden Florist family announces their “Give Back to Those Who Give So Much Program.”  Eden Florist invites any member of the Armed Forces and their families to order flowers online, on the phone and in person during the holiday season and pay absolutely no service or delivery charges when they do.  When they order online all they have to do is mention what branch of the military they serve in order to can take advantage of this offer.  This offer is good for deliveries anywhere in the United States and Canada .  

The impetus for this program began when Heidi Richards, President was nominated by the Department of the Navy to take part in a program put on by the Department of Defense – The Joint Civilian Orientation Conference.  The Joint Civilian Orientation Conference (JCOC) is a Secretary of Defense sponsored program for America 's leaders interested in expanding their knowledge of the military and national defense. JCOC is the oldest existing Pentagon outreach program and has been held more than 70 times since its inception in 1948. Thousands of business, education and community leaders have benefited from this in-depth introduction to the military.

JCOC participants attend briefings by senior military and civilian officials followed by hands-on experience observing exercises, participating in training and interacting with troops stationed across the globe.
